This design, in an abstract style, is a complex study in form and tension.
The tabletop is a single, irregularly shaped slab of labradorite, its soft, organic curves a stark contrast to the base.
The bronze base is a series of interwoven, non-representational shapes, some flowing and others sharply geometric, that appear to defy gravity as they support the stone.
It is a piece that is a sculpture in its own right, a functional work of art that plays with the viewer`s perception of stability and order.
