This is the "Quantum Shear" table. Its tabletop is a single, perfectly polished slab of labradorite, but it`s been cut with non-Euclidean geometry, its edges an unpredictable series of sharp and obtuse angles. The legs, cast from raw bronze, are not parallel; they jut out at bizarre, intersecting angles, creating a tension that seems to hold the entire piece together in defiance of physics. The form is both stable and disorienting, a functional piece that simultaneously challenges the eye and the mind.
